Menu For Hope 2007December 16, 2007 at 6:56 pm | Posted in Blog Event, Random | Leave a comment
I just wanted to take a minute to draw everyones attention to what is easily the greatest foodie blog event of the year, Menu For Hope. For those of you that haven’t heard about Menu for Hope it’s pretty much a MASSIVE fundraising event hosted by Chez Pim. Foodies throught the world donate prizes and buy $10 raffle tickets for any of the many prizes they may want. All proceeds are donated to the United Nations World Food Program. This year all proceeds will go specifically to the school lunch program in Lesotho, Africa. Last year foodies raised over $60,000, hopefully, in their 4th year Menu for Hope will raise even more!
This time of year is all about giving to others, whether it be gifts, love, time or donations and this is the perfect way to donate money this holiday. I encourage everyone to at least enter one raffle. It’s only $10 of your money, but it goes to a good cause and you can win something too. How cool is that? There are so many great prizes I’m sure you can find at least one that you’d like to take a chance at winning!

Since most of my readers are from the US … the prizes coming from the US are listed as UE (US east coast) UC (US Central) and UW (US west coast). Some of the prizes really are region specific, but others can be entered by everyone throught the US. If you want to see the specific lists of prizes for each region go to the bottom of the prize list and you can click on each of the regional hosts pages to see the lists for each region.
Now what are you waiting for, go enter some raffles!!
